If you are playing on a server, you are in the "Golden Age" of difficulty. This is not the "burning" event, one-shot-everything modern MapleStory. In v111, grinding is brutal. Damage ranges are low, potions are mandatory, and map layouts matter more than your gear.

In v111, Scarecrows are often uncontested and give excellent EXP for their HP pool. Worth the boat ride to NLC.
