This method allows you to assign different backgrounds to different channels, making channel identification instant at a glance.

The radio won't show the image automatically until you turn the feature on in your codeplug settings:

Designers often upload "System UI Wallpaper packs." These are specifically crafted to match the aesthetic of iOS, Android, and Windows. Search for Adaptive wallpapers to find Anytone-style assets.

Go to the top menu: Tool > Standby BK Picture (or Boot Image for a startup logo). A new window will appear. Click "Open Image," navigate to your resized 160x128 pixel image, and select it. The software should preview the image. Click Write to load the image data to the radio. This method allows you to assign different backgrounds

The process of actually uploading an image is where many users stumble. Anytone radios are programmed via CPS (Computer Programming Software). Unlike Android phones where you can simply "Set Wallpaper," Anytone requires a

160 x 128 pixels.

Use the paint bucket tool to fill the canvas. Darker backgrounds (black or navy blue) look sleek and preserve battery life.
