The bad news: Adobe Audition 1.5 (released in 2004) is officially obsolete. The good news: With the right , it runs surprisingly well on Windows 10 and 11.

Adobe Audition 1.5 uses legacy installers (16-bit setup launcher). Windows 11 (64-bit) cannot run 16-bit installers natively. You will need to use a virtual machine (VirtualBox with XP) or a compatibility workaround (explained below).
